Welcome to the 3rd IEA Task 51 Solar Energy in Urban Planning Experts Meeting registration site!  This meeting is by Invitation Only.

The meeting is planned as shown in the scheme. It is composed of:

  • The 3rd Task 51 “Solar Energy in Urban Planning” IEA Experts Technical Meeting;
  • “Meet the Task 51”, a b to b event organized by ENEA Enterprise Europe Network;
  • A rich networking social programme proposed and hosted by Cesvitec, a special enterprise of the Chamber of Commerce of Naples, including:
    • Networking activity (Task 51 football championship) on the 25th
    • Networking dinner event on the 26th
    • Technical tour to Pompeii on the 28th
  • More details will be sent to people who register for these events.

For those who are interested in the Technical tour to Pompeii on the 28th, please, consider that we will be back to Naples Central Station around 18 (maximum 18.30) From here to the airport it takes about 20 minutes by taxi.

Important Deadlines

  • 7th of February for adding your profiles for the Meet the Task 51 b to b event
  • 15th of February for booking a room at the Royal Continental Hotel
  • 25th of February for registering in the meeting and in the networking social activities

ACTIONS AND DEADLINES

1. Meet the Task 51 B to B event / uploading the profiles

For the success of the event it is very important that we all register our profiles for the b to b event to be held on the 27th and on the 28th of March. To do this, profiles (personal profiles, organization profiles, as well as subtasks profiles) have to be uploaded on the dedicated website.  The deadline for uploading the profiles for the b to b event is the 7th of February.  (the sooner, the better) Only after our profiles have been uploaded, the other interested people can evaluate their participation in the event.

2. Meeting registration fee payment

The meeting fee is 100€, including lunch and refreshments (3 lunches and 5 coffee breaks for the 3 days of our meeting).
This has to be paid directly to the Royal Continental Hotel, by credit card only.  The deadline for the registration is the 25th of February.  Please, use the Registration and Accommodation Form.

3. Accommodation booking

Accommodation costs are not included in the meeting fee, and attendees are responsible for making their own arrangements. A limited number of rooms are reserved at the Royal Continental Hotel. The fare (breakfast included) is 109€ for a single classic room and 129€ for a double classic room; or 129€ for a single sea view superior room and 149€ for a double sea view superior room. The deadline for booking the rooms is the 15th of February. Please use the Registration and Accommodation Form.

4. Registering in networking (social) events

Networking (social) events are kindly hosted by Cesvitec, so they are free for all registered participants; we just need you to register for them.  Use the online meeting registration system to indicate what you will be participating in.
